2025-2026 Safe and Inclusive School Plan

Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.

Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.

The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.

Key Priorities and Goals

This year our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment to promote respect, acceptance and empathy.

We are doing this to/because when people feel safe, cared for and included, they will be more academically engaged and socially successful. 

Key Actions or Strategies

• Hosting school wide events/programs celebrating diversity, inclusion and participation - Breakfast Program, Tractor Day, inclusion of Elementary Schools in large events.
• Creating opportunities that recognize and promote a variety of career paths - Ticket to the Trades, College/University Visits, community guest speakers. 
• Intentionally embedding active listening skills and study skills into classes across the curriculum.
• Create a plan to increase awareness of anonymous reporting and that the report goes directly and only to administration in the building.
• Working closer with the elementary feeder schools regarding incoming students and integration. 

Community and Home Connections

• Ask your child about how they are connecting with their teachers and peers by participating in curricular and co-curricular programs.
